New Pattern! Knitted Felted Tote Bag with Pockets!

I wanted to create a bag with pockets for my knitting projects. It seems like whenever I go to the store and check out the bags they have for knitting, one thing seems to be severely lacking - pockets! So, I set out to make my own pattern and this is what I came up with:

The great thing about this pattern is that if you need more pockets, you simply add them! And you can add them wherever you want them! The pattern includes instructions for the bag, a large sized pocket and a small sized pocket. If you need more large pockets you can make more, or if you need a bunch of small pockets, you can just have a bunch of smaller ones. If you need a deeper bag, the pattern explains where to do this. The instructions also explain how to line the bag and the pockets, and the pockets use magnetic snaps so you don't have to fool around with making buttonholes or getting the button undone. A video tutorial is on its way shortly to help beginners with this project. Happy knitting!

A new zipper tutorial is now online here

Pants Fly Front image

This is a good general reference for anyone making their own pants, trousers, jeans; any article of clothing with a fly front. The example uses a Suitability pants pattern, and also can be used to substitute a button fly on patterns such as McCalls 4745 Civil War Costume.

The tutorial has still shots and video tutorials to help you along.
